Trying to change fuel pump. Gas tank is down but how do you actually get the pump off the tank? I don't want to break anything.93 GMC Jimmy...Fuel pump?
Well you should see where the opening is you need to remove any screws and disconnect all the electrical connections then use a large pair of channel locks or a screw driver and a small ball pen hammer sometimes the rubber o-ring or the metal plate sticks alittle but be careful not to cause sparks!
Then once you get the pump and sending unit out its pretty easy from there then make sure you replace the rubber o-ring to.
