How hard is it and how much time is involved to change a fuel pump in a 2000 Blazer?

It is hard if you dont know what to do and dont have the proper tools. You need to drop the tank a little to be able to disconnect the fuel lines. If any line breaks then you will get a check engine light for a large evap leak. After you disconnect all the lines you need to drop the tank completely. Then you need a tool to remove the retainer ring. Ohh and if tank is full well good luck buddy. You better not be a smoker or you are catching fire LOL. It's a pain in the butt no matter what anyone says. The pump is in the gas tank, so the gas tank has to be dropped out and there's always something else in the way. That's pretty much the hardest part. Getting the clamp ring out to remove the pump isn't easy sometimes either.
